How do I create an Event or Measurement module
On the Dashboard page in the blue Credits box, click the ‘Create’ link at the top right hand side. This will take you to the Create Event page where the user fills in the relevant details. It is as simple as entering detail specific to your event to include country, region, date, event type, industry, expected attendees etc.
On the Create Event or Create Measurement module page, enter the relevant details, ensuring to complete all mandatory items marked with an asterisk. This detail can be changed later if necessary after the event or measurement module has been set up – see Event Details page.
If you choose to create a Measurement Module assessment (access the calculators only), the process is similar. This module gives you an assessment across the metric calculations only.
Only a SEMS manager /producer with permissions to ‘CREATE NEW EVENT’ can set up an Event or Measurement module. The client must also have sufficient credits to do so.
The Mains Power Source is the state, region or territory the event is held in. The Office Allocation is a percentage estimate of the amount of time spent annually organising this event. The calculation affects the office energy and waste algorithm only.
Please note that the information for “Mains Power Source” will engage the appropriate territory emission factors. Your country entry engages either metric or Imperial systems in the calculators (lbs, kg, km, miles etc).
